Our family’s guiding business principles for the future include producing more Estate grown wines, remaining family owned and operated, keeping a European influence on our winemaking style and philosophy, and preserving the historic Winery and Cask Room for generations to enjoy.

Justin Lau, A Merryvale Club Member and Messenger since November 2018.

Justin Lau has been a loyal Merryvale Wine Club member going on five years. As a Bay Area resident, he visits the winery often with his friends and family, many of whom joined the club per his referral. Celebrate Napa’s 2023 vintage with René, Laurence and the Merryvale winemakers at our annual Harvest Party. Our annual Profile Brunch at our hillside estate vineyard is always a great time. To celebrate 40 years of Merryvale, this year’s brunch will be extra special and feature the release of Profile XXXVI, a unique and very limited bottling 40 years in the making. Guests at this elevated event will enjoy a multi-course al fresco dining experience featuring fresh, seasonal ingredients paired with Profile XXXVI and 2021 Silhouette Chardonnay. 2017 Oakville Grade Red Wine, Napa Valley
The 2017 Oakville Grade Red Wine is a classic Oakville Bordeaux blend from an elegantly powerful vintage. An elegant, complex wine with integrated tannins and incredible depth of character.
Food Pairing:   Try this wine with Braised Beef Short Ribs with Pancetta and Crimini Mushrooms.
Ageability:   With proper cellaring, this wine will drink beautifully for the next 10+ years.
2017 Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley
Drawn from top Napa vineyards including Stagecoach, Hardman Stanton and Greenwood, this wine exhibits classic Napa Cabernet
characteristics with surprising depth.
